- Once the download begins, I wait for it to complete. My MacBook’s download folder icon may bounce in the dock when it’s done.
- I located the downloaded file called “googlechrome.dmg” in my Downloads folder.
- To install Chrome, I double-click this file.
- A window pops up, and I simply drag the Google Chrome icon into my Applications folder as prompted.
- Now, I can find Chrome in my Applications folder and open it from there or add it to my Dock for easy access.
- The first time I open Chrome, my MacBook may ask for confirmation to open the app. I click “Open” to proceed.
