Here are some easy steps through which we can get Google Chrome on our Macbook Air:

• First, I open Safari (or any other web browser on my MacBook Air).
• Then, I go to the official Chrome website by typing “google.com/chrome” in the browser’s address bar.
• On the Chrome website, I click on the “Download Chrome” button.

If the download doesn’t start automatically:

• I look for the “Download Chrome” button in the top right corner and click it.

• Once the download begins, I wait for it to complete. My MacBook’s download folder icon may bounce in the dock when it’s done.

• I located the downloaded file called “googlechrome.dmg” in my Downloads folder.

• To install Chrome, I double-click this file.

• A window pops up, and I simply drag the Google Chrome icon into my Applications folder as prompted.

• Now, I can find Chrome in my Applications folder and open it from there or add it to my Dock for easy access.

• The first time I open Chrome, my MacBook may ask for confirmation to open the app. I click “Open” to proceed.

• I can also choose to sign in to my Google account and make Chrome my default browser when prompted.
